Our School Restaurant

Welcome to FOOD CENTRAL.

We have had a change of name over the summer including naming our shacks THE FOOD HUT (Quad) and PIT STOP (Stourdale).

FOOD CENTRAL is our canteen and the main source of our food. We cater for breakfast, break and lunch. We have plenty of options available to choose from we continue to work on menus and new snack ideas so throughout the upcoming year I am sure there will be many changes and new products. I am hoping to put out a suggestion box so students and staff can offer their ideas as well.

We are also starting a cold meal deal in a box; this will include a half baguette with cheese or ham and small pot of fruit and a drink.

We have changed our menus a little bit nothing too major – just a little revamp – please see below.

THE FOOD HUT is located within the Quad. Outside of the food central hall, this offers food at break and lunch. Hot food from bacon baguettes to paninis and hash browns, we have baked crisps, proper popcorn and sandwiches, cold wraps, fruit and desserts as well as drinks.

At lunch we have cookies freshly baked that day (starting the 11th September).

PIT STOP is our smallest shack located in the Stourdale area, this also offers hot food and all the snacks that the food hut offers. During the summer months this shack also offers ice creams.

We now also offer a GLUTEN FREE MENU this will be done on a pre-order basis. We have cold gluten free pasta available every week from Tuesdays. But everything else will need to be ordered please have a look and see what we have to offer. Menu is detailed below.

We also offer VEGAN options everyday as a main meal as well as at least one snack in the hot cabinets as well as a cold option of a sandwich or wrap.

We aim to be a nut free school any products we use do not contain nuts, but some are made in a factory that uses nuts so please ask your students to check all labels just in case we have any such products.

We cater for all needs we continue to learn and add new items making sure we follow the school nutritional guidelines as well as the food standards policy.
