PSHE
P.S.H.E. (Personal, Social, Health Education) is a programme of study that has been designed to help pupils develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to stay healthy, safe, respectful and prepared for life.
P.S.H.E. Programme of Study KEY STAGES 3-4
OVERVIEW
PSHE is delivered regularly across the school during registration and on three Focus Days per year.
PSHE covers the following topics: Sex and Relationships Education (RSE); Health and Wellbeing; Safety and Risk Reduction; Finance and Careers; Drugs, Alcohol and Tobacco Education; Debate and Oracy; Citizenship; Identity, Society and Equality.
COVERING THE STATUTORY CONTENT
The programme of study has been planned in accordance with the Department for Education’s statutory guidance on Sex and Relationships Education (RSE), Health and Wellbeing, and Living in the Wider World. See the policy below and on our Policies page for further information on RSE.
REGULAR REVIEW
The programme is subject to regular review and change to suit the needs of our students in our school community. The RSE policy will be reviewed once a year.
We want our PSHE programme as up to date as possible and therefore the programme of study for KS3 and KS4 will be uploaded soon.
