Safeguarding
The safeguarding of the young people in our care is of paramount importance to us. It is our responsibility to keep students safe whilst they are in school, to be alert to signs of harm or risky behaviour originating outside school and to teach them the skills they need to stay safe and treat others well. We have a number of policies and procedures that support our work in this area, and all staff receive appropriate and regular training. The Safeguarding team who are Level 3 trained are:
The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Miss E Thurlow (Deputy Headteacher)
The Deputy Designated Safeguarding Leads (DDSL’s) are:
Mrs A Greenhalgh (Safeguarding Assistant)
Mr B Briggs (Headteacher)
Miss K Mears (Director of Operations and Finance)
Ms C Campbell (SENDCo)
Mrs K Lawrence (SEND Assistant)
